The hot mat classes here are the absolute best in the city, I never miss a class with Julia R, she’s an amazing instructor and her classes are fantastic - cannot recommend her enough!

Love this new studio and location! From the moment you walk in, it really does feel like you've found your solace. This location is bright, spacious and stunning. The front stuff is always so friendly and welcoming. The teachers bring the best energy and are also very friendly :). The classes are the perfect challenge!

Solis is such a gorgeous Pilates studio. It is honestly rare in Toronto to find workout studios with this much natural daylight. The light alone makes the space feel elevated and calming. It does not feel like a dark basement fitness studio. It feels intentional, airy, and beautifully designed. I have been to two of their locations, the one on King and the one near St. Lawrence Market. I know they also have at least one more location further west in Etobicoke, closer to Mississauga, and possibly another. So they are clearly growing, which says a lot. Personally, I gravitate toward the east end location. I just love that area. I do not live in the west or east end, so going to Solis is more of a weekend experience for me rather than part of my daily routine. I do not go every week, but I make it there once or twice a month because it feels like something I look forward to. The reformer workout itself is strong. I have a foot issue and honestly did not think reformer Pilates would be physically possible for me, but I can follow the class and modify when needed. It is challenging in the right way and such a great addition to any workout routine. You leave feeling worked but not destroyed. It builds strength and control in a balanced way. The studio is well equipped with change rooms, showers, and a welcoming lounge area where you can sit before or after class. I have even seen people briefly work from there. It is not something I personally would do, but it is nice that you can wait for a friend or take your time without feeling rushed. A small coffee, tea, or juice option would be a great addition. The space invites you to linger, and having a drink option would elevate the experience even more. The flow of the class really depends on the instructor. At the east end location, I resonated much more with the pace and energy. One class I took on the west end felt more like a club atmosphere, with very loud music and a high intensity vibe. I love music in the background, but I am not looking for a clubbing experience during Pilates. That part is very instructor dependent. One important piece of feedback is around class size and corrections. The classes are large, which makes sense from a business perspective. I am a business owner, so I understand operational optimization. But because the classes are big, instructors realistically cannot correct everyone. I am a beginner on the reformer, and I know there are exercises where my form is not perfect. I also observe others with improper form. Corrections are limited, and that concerns me. Proper form is essential for safety and effectiveness. I would love to see more hands on guidance, whether that means smaller classes or an additional instructor assisting. I have taken three different classes across two locations and this feedback has been consistent. I also appreciate the no phone policy during class. As much as I sometimes want to take a photo because the lighting is beautiful, it is fair and respectful that phones are not allowed during the workout. It protects the flow of the class and everyone’s focus. They are reasonable about snapping a photo before or after, which feels balanced. Another detail I like is their retail section. They carry really cute activewear. I previously had an activewear brand myself, so I pay attention to design and aesthetic, and from a design perspective their pieces look great. I cannot speak to performance, but visually they are strong. They also sell very cute grip socks, plus small branded accessories like hair ties and clips that are actually stylish. One suggestion regarding the grip socks is to consider adding grip on the inside of the sock as well as the outside. There are designs that include internal grip, which really helps prevent sliding inside the sock. It would be a functional upgrade while keeping the aesthetic strong. Overall, Solis is a beautiful Toronto Pilates studio with strong reformer classes, thoughtful design, and an experience that feels elevated.

Great experience overall! Nice looking studio and good price point. You need to bring a Mat Towel (not a mat) for all mat classes and grip socks for reformer. However, lockers are a bit tight, arrive early or it might be hard to find one.

I have a sound bath studio next door and have attended 13 classes over the course of 14 days! The space is stunning and I’m so glad that something I’m enjoying so much is right next door. Definitely about to renew my membership on an ongoing basis. All the instructors have been great but Lauren stands out to me because a week later she remembered my name and when I found the music too loud during both the classes I attended of hers she kindly lowered the volume and inquired afterwards regarding feedback. The other instructor who stands out is Romika because she really whoops my butt each time but I keep coming back for more lol. A suggestion would be to add numbers to the lockers. Personally, after being wiped out from a class, having to remember my reserved mat spot, the locker combination and the location of my unnumbered locker is a lot. Also if there is a way to streamline the check in process (QR code on a screen?) to not delay making it into a class on time that might be helpful. Congrats on the opening of this new location! Welcome to the neighbourhood.

I took Mercia’s reformer class and then her candle lit yin and it was a wonderful experience. The space is beautiful, the music for both classes was on point, and her cueing was clear. Loved it, will definitely be back. Thank you Mercia!!

Hot room classes are great, mats are evenly spaced. The entire studio is beautiful and the locker rooms are spacious. Suggested improvements: Small bins in women's stall for sanitary products disposal. And something to easily identify instructors in classes (its a bit difficult to see in a full class)

I’ve attended a couple classes now at the new Solis location. It’s a beautiful space and much more roomy than the King W location (and closer to me). Instructors I’ve taken classes with so far are excellent and challenging. My only feedback, which is the same as King W when it opened, you really need to put numbers on the lockers, it’s too large of a space to not have these. Numbers in the mat room when booking also do not match up to how they are in the space but that might have been resolved because they just opened. Otherwise, love the classes and this will continue to be my main studio.

Continuously finding my solace at Solis. ✨ I’ve been going to Solis locations for almost a year now, and when I heard Solis Movement East was opening, I was genuinely thrilled — it’s now the closest studio to me. The studio itself is absolutely stunning (honestly, one of the prettiest Pilates studios I’ve seen in Toronto). Beyond the aesthetic, the experience is consistently top-tier: the team is warm, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. Special shoutout to Blessing, the studio manager — she makes a point of ensuring everyone feels welcomed, supported, and comfortable from the moment you walk in. Every class I’ve taken has been excellent, whether it be the reformer room or the hot room, with a great range of styles and intensities. Instructors always offer thoughtful modifications, plus options to level up if you want more of a challenge — which makes the classes feel accessible and motivating no matter where you’re at. I haven’t taken every instructor yet, but Solis East already has my heart. Highly recommend classes with Kayla, Jordan, Izzy, Ashley, and Carla — they do not disappoint and the burn is REAL.
